Los Angeles is a city known for its obsession with cars. If you are staying in hotels in Los Angeles, you can be a part of the phenomenon by attending the Los Angeles Auto Show starting this week! Get a sneak peek by attending Sneak Preview Night on November 29. It’s an evening of cars and hors d’oeuvres without the crowds of the regular show. VIP tickets are $250 including access to the VIP lounge and seating area and $125 for hors d’oeuvres and cash bar.
You can also test drive certain models straight from the manufacturers at the Auto Show in the South and West Halls of the convention center. This year the Auto Show will be highlighting green vehicles as well as those featuring advanced in-car technology such as automatic park assist, radar-based object detection systems and driver assist technologies. Celebrities like Blake Griffin will also visit manufacturer exhibits.
Bring the kids to The Hyundai Hope on Wheels Kids’ Fun Zone! It’s a weekend attraction at the show featuring interactive activities for children ages 12 and under. Bounce houses, face painting, video games, educational activities, arts and crafts, radio controlled cars and more will be available in Kentia Hall on December 1-2 and 8-9 from 9am to 8pm. Starry and Face paint hours are noon to 5pm and Game Truck – Video Game Hours are 10am to 7pm.
