There’s still time to catch the best outdoor summer concerts during your stay in Los Angeles! Consider yourself lucky to be cashing in on Hollywood vacation packages during Labor Day weekend as there are plenty of sweet tunes to catch in town thanks to the FYF Fest!
The 9th annual FYF Fest returns this weekend to bring innovative punk, rock, electronic, hip-hop and experimental music to Los Angeles State Historic Park in downtown L.A. This year’s headliners are the international stars M83, Beirut, and Refused, but there are plenty of local Los Angeles artists performing as well, including Warpaint, Redd Kross, Health, John Maus, Fidlar, the Growlers, Allah-Las and White Fence. Over 50 acts total will play over two days this weekend.
Doors open each day at 12pm and bands start playing at 12:30pm until midnight each night. There are no ins and outs of the festival. Kids are welcome but require supervision of an adult 18 years or older all day. Food, drinks and shade is available on site from vendors. It is recommended to take the Gold Line Metro to Chinatown to attend the festival as hours are being extended to 2am this weekend.
If you’re in Los Angeles during the week, or if $77 is a bit steep for your budget, check out other FYF Fest events happening this week below!
