Anime Expo brings Fantasy to Reality at the Los Angeles Convention Center

Anime has its roots in Japan but has become very popular here in the United States and seems to show no signs of slowing down with legions of fans including many females. It is considered an art form and delivers amazing artwork, epic storylines, legendary characters and a wide range of material. The Anime Expo is held every year in Los Angeles and is North America’s largest anime and manga event. Fans will get a chance to meet, hear and talk to some of the most famous anime, manga and musical artist from Japan.

The expo will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center on July 1 and end on July 4th, 2011. There will be many events to take part in including video gaming competitions, karaoke, costume play, video competitions and exclusive screenings. There will also be the popular Masquerade with over $25,000 in Masquerade Cash and prizes.
